Audrey (Sixel) Clark, 87, of Arizona and formerly of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at her home in Arizona on Dec. 30, 2009. She was born on Sept. 19, 1922 in Sheboygan County to Gustave and Roma (Klessig) Sixel. Audrey attended and graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School. On June 7, 1941 she married Clifford Clark in Door County . They farmed in Valmy for 12 years and then moved to Arizona where Audrey was a homemaker. Her husband preceded her in death on Aug. 26, 2006.
Survivors include 4 sons, Robert (Merrie), Pembroke, Mass, Michael (Victoria), Ariz., Thomas (Beverly) Ariz., and William (Jo), Ariz.; 2 granddaughters, Michele (Paul) Grimaldi, and Constance Clark; 1 great-grandson, Taylor Grimaldi, all of Arizona; 3 brothers, Donald (Pearl) Sixel, Sturgeon Bay, Carl Sixel, Sturgeon Bay, and Jerome (Joanne) Sixel, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, James, 3 brothers, Willard, Arthur, and Adrian Sixel.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010 at the Forbes Funeral Home with the Rev. John Seelman officiating. Burial will be at Bayside Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the Forbes Funeral Home and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. |
