Adeline (Raynier) Geise 75, Brussels, passed away February 3, 2009. She was born on November 22, 1933 to Frank and Mabel (Anderson) Raynier. She lived all her life in Door County. She graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 1953. On July 8, 1953 she married Robert Geise in Sturgeon Bay, he preceded her in death on October 3, 1998. Adeline enjoyed fishing, going on trips with her husband and two best friends John and Arlene Hudson, also gardening, flowers, feeding birds and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons: Robert (Cindy) Geise Jr., Green Bay, Stewart Geise, Brussels, Steven (Jennifer) Geise, Sturgeon Bay; six grandchildren: Kristin and Kendra Geise, Brittany Geise, Holly Summers, Heather Block, and Jennifer Drews; one brother-in-law: Bernard Stauber, Brussels; one nephew: Kevin (Donna) Stauber, Brussels; two aunts: Lillian Pluff, Sturgeon Bay, Mary Matthews, Ohio. Adeline was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one sister: Shirley Stauber; one grandson: Brian Geise; one granddaughter: Amber Geise; her father and mother-in-law, and brother and sister-in-law, several aunts and uncles and a number of cousins.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday February 7, at the Forbes Funeral Home. Mr. Michael Smits officiating.Visitation will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home until the time of services. Burial will be at the Geise Cemetery. |
